By GEORGE

Double DVD SET - £20 (inc. P & P)

The official 'By George -The Chip Shop Musical' stage show performed in front of a live audience by the original cast, Woodhouse Musical Theatre Company, during its premiere run at Huddersfield's LBT in September 2023.

Pauline, George and Sam are, to all the world, a traditional Yorkshire family. They live in a flat above their chip shop and for years they've been pulling in different directions. George is cynically determined to maintain the status quo; Sam has grown up without anyone noticing and Pauline, whilst trying to please everyone, has failed to square life's circle. A predetory serial divorcee - Marge - is searching for husband number six. She arranges for special appearance at a hen party to stir up more than just the interest of the bride-to-be.

Fortunately, George and Pauline have close friends Harry and Lill to guide them, and a community of customers willing to accept the eccentricities of George for the sake of a decent fish supper.

'By George' follows Pauline's struggle to keep her family together, reconnect with her son, contemplate the advances of her own admirer and keep Marge's destructive intentions in check. It's harder to juggle than twice wi'bits and chip fat leaking through the paper.

Over two hours of music and mayhem are lovingly captured on this two-disc DVD set with extra features and a full hi-def digital download copy for your media servers.

PLEASE NOTE: Release date is 30th November 2023. Please allow 5 working days for delivery.
