The RE-ISSUE (Available JULY 2025)

Script tightening

Set-ups and character intros are more concise.

Song Changes

Though most songs have received refreshes - some have been removed and/or replaced with better numbers.

Plot Revisions

Pacing has improved. Farce elements are more propulsive leading to a less abrupt finale.

Easier and cheaper to stage

Less reliance on scenery and heavy props makes the whole show smoother, more robust and cheaper.

Transitions

Eliminating scene changes by combining locations has led to a much faster pace.

Better orchestration

Written while modern sequencers were in their infancy, the orchestration now has more cohesion and impact.

Gravity

Rich has been writing shows since 1992, has travelled the world as a cruise director and performer and is a property manager and landlord.
